The Amherst Skating Club is a United States Figure Skating (USFS) club with 120 amateur skaters, both young and adult, and 215 non-skating adult members including parents, coaches and judges. Our home ice is the Northtown Center at Amherst; a four-rink facility located on Amherst Manor Drive in Amherst, New York, a suburb of Buffalo. The Amherst Skating Club Summer Skate With US application is now online. To download/ print the form please CLICK HERE. Applications are due by June 19, 2013. You can also submit your Skate With US application online by visiting the SKATE WITH US HOMEPAGE and using our "Online Application" system. We hope to see you this summer!

The 2013 Summer Ice Contract is now available. To download/ print the ice contract please visit the ICE SCHEDULES HOMEPAGE! Resident registration will be on Monday, June 17th from 3-6pm. Non- Resident registration will be on Wednesday, June 19th from 3-6pm. Registration must be done IN PERSON. PLEASE NOTE: Memberships must be renewed before purchasing Summer ice. Skaters will not be able to purchase of summer ice if they do not have a current membership on file.

The 2013- 2014 ASC Membership Packet is now available. To download/ print the Membership Packet please visit the MEMBERSHIP HOMEPAGE! Memberships must be renewed on or before June 3, 2013. Skaters will not be able to purchase of summer ice if they do not have a current membership.

The Amherst Skating Club Skate With US program was featured in the "Rinkside" section of this month's (April 2013) US Figure Skating "Skating" Magazine! The article and picture features skaters in our Shining Stars program with their "SnowPlow Sam Coloring Contest" entries, which is held annually for National Skating Month. SPRING 2013 ICE CONTRACT IS RELEASED!

The Amherst Skating Club has released the official Spring 2013 Ice Contract and schedule. To look at the schedule please CLICK HERE or visit the Ice Schedules Homepage. Resident registration will be March 18th 3:00- 6pm. Non- Resident registration will be March 20th 3:00- 6:00pm. Registration and ice contracts MUST be processed in person on the listed dates. Early submissions WILL NOT be accepted! You must have a current 2012- 2013 USFS membership on file to purchase Spring ice. 2013 ASC TEST DAYS ANNOUNCED!

The Amherst Skating Club has announced it's test days for the 2013 season. ASC will hold testing on the following dates: March 7, 2013; May 9, 2013; August 24, 2013; and October 24, 2013. For more information on testing and to download the ASC Test Form please visit the TESTING HOMEPAGE.

ASC would like to wish a special congratulations to our skaters who have qualified for the 2013 Eastern Sectional Championships, November 9-13, 2012 in Massachusetts. Good Luck to Jordan Bauth (Senior Ladies), Paige Conners (Intermediate Ladies), Trevor Bergqvist (Junior Men), Volodymyr Patsukevych (Intermediate Men), Angeline Turczyn (Juvenile Dance), and Brook Sinatra (Alternate- Junior Ladies). Congratulations to Trevor Bergvist and Jordan Bauth who competed at the 2012 Eastern Sectional Championships in Jamestown, NY. Both skaters came in 5th place in their respective divisions. Both are alternates to the 2012 US National Championships. Congratulations also goes out to Paige Conners and Volodymyr Patsukevych who competed at the 2012 Jr. National Championships in East Lansing, MI Dec. 10-14th. A special congratulations goes out to Jordan Bauth who was named to the Junior Olympic Team last month. Jordan will compete on behalf of the United States at the 2012 Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria this January. Good Luck Jordan!
